Charles homony known by stage name $.D.M.B.$ (DOLLAR MONEY BROTHER) .He was born on 9th/sept/1988 in Jinja district of Uganda, is an Acholi by tribe from Gulu district but grew up from jinja gaddaffi barracks were he spent most of lifelyhood.He came up from the barracks because both the father and the mother are soldiers. He joined jinja army boarding primary school were he came up with a certificate.
He said that his dream is to make music which curries a positive massage, music which will bring about a positive change in the society and generation. His dream became reality some years ago were he traveled to U.S.A and still continued with his hip-hop music which is still being liked by most people.
He said he is a true hip-hop believer and he traveled to countries performing hip-hop on different stages nomater in absence of money, He still said that he joined Rapping music not for business but for the love of hip-hop.
He went to Nakasongola army secondary school were he still came up with a certificate in ordinary level, He was then admitted to Jinja senior secondary school for his advance level were he was voted to be the vice president interact club of the school, This made his hip-hop to come up as his career and explode the Nation due to his performances in different schools were he earned the name $.D.M.B.$ (DOLLAR MONEY BROTHER) He explained that what arties have to analyze that one does not have to be with enough money in order to get to the top but can still make it using his or her own talent.(hip-hop).

He then joined A2ZEE from jinja-Uganda were he recorded his first album produced by mycdemous, It was his first album that made him reached to top with the songs,Minaworo,Lutino,miss you featuring his producer in 2006.
In 2005-2009 $.D.M.B.$ (DOLLAR MONEY BROTHER) has had one of the most succesful performance, any artists has enjoyed with 9 tracks which rocked on choice fm, radio 4, mega fm top 20 a radio station in gulu district, Before his music’s crossed to gulu district, he first made a record, hit within jinja,kampala,luwero,mukono districts with the collaboration of mycdemous as his producer.
$.D.M.B.$ had his major performance with the collaboration of dirty-d,mycdemous on stages of club sombreros,jinja club, club silk,Acholi inn,Allobo club this was within his country Uganda. He also went a head performing on different stages from different countries like Kenya,Tanzania,Zambia, South Africa were he still collaborated with different artists from different countries
Really to understand were $.D.M.B.$ is , It was from a long struggle though he meet a lot of troubles, He had a lot of troubles during his school regime, He was given all kinds of names, nick named as a gangstar,drug taker, But still it was out of these troubles that contributed towards his becoming known world wide.
He is still working harder and doing to fill the gaps and correct those mistakes he made during his adolescent stages.

$.D.M.B.$ grew up with soldiers because his farther and the mother were both soldiers living in jinja district of Uganda the reason to why he grew up with soldiers, He began rapping at the age of 11 years old on both his native language and Swahili used by Ugandan soldiers.

$.D.M.B.$ , Original names Charles Homony, He joined Hip-hop music industry from Uganda since 1998 when he was at the age of 11 years old and indeed he still flow Hip- hop, He explained that he is still looking forward to see that Hip-hop is to Africa coz what he knows Hip-hop originated from Africa and is mostly done by the Africans. He began Rapping in his native language Acholi found in northern Uganda that first made him famous in his country. His first album was dominated by Acholi rapping tracks as Lutino, Mina-woro.

When asked for his age and status,” he said that he is single having 21 years old but most people write him with 20 years old.
