The new MX-2310F light weight is a result of use of newly developed polymer resin frame, making the new MFP, one-third lighter than its predecessor model. Furthermore, it offers reduced power consumption by approximately 77%, and a significantly faster warm-up time.
The new MX-2310F adopts LEDs as the light source in the scanning section. The power consumption of new MX-2310F while on network standby is just 1 watt. Additionally, the new MX-2310F comes with Sharp’s Mycrostoner HG2, an advanced small-particle toner enabling high image quality output capable of reproducing neutral tones and fine details in the original. The new MX-2310F comes with ease of use design, including a 7.0-inch WVGA color touch screen LCD control panel as well as easy to grip handles.
The new MX-2310F will hit the Japanese market on September 10, 2010 at a suggested retain price of 1,165,000 JPY (incl. TAX). Sharp is planning a monthly production of 1,000 units. The new MX-2310F comes with embedded IC card reader/writer for non-contact IC card authentication as well as Sharp OSA allowing operation with qualified application software.
