Buffalo DriveStation Duo and DriveStation Duad External Hard Drive p

Buffalo announced two new external storage solutions, the Drive station Duo and DriveStation Duad. Both of them feature USB 2.0 and eSATA 3.0 for high-speed data transfer. They include the NovaBACKUP Business Essentials.

The DriveStation Duo is a dual-drive storage system supporting RAID 0 and RAID 1 for data redundancy or the capacity required for demanding professional and server applications. It offers up to 225MB/s transfer speed with eSATA 3.0.

The DriveStation Duad has four hard drives and supports RAID 0, 5, 10 and Normal modes. It is shipped with RAID 5, for a prime balance between data redundancy and available storage capacity. This quad-drive storage solution offers up to 235 MB/s speed with eSATA 3.0 and is avialable in capacities up to 8TB.

Also introduced is the DriveStation Axis single drive external hard drive with a sleek, attractive chassis. It is equipped with Buffalo Backup Utility.
