ROHM released its new ECOMOS RMW series of high efficiency, low power consumption MOSFETs that are optimized to be used in high performance DC/DC power supply circuits. The new series of ECOMOS offers a low ON resistance plus low capacitance, minimizing switching loss at the high side of DC/DC synchronous rectification circuits while simultaneously ensuring low ON resistance characteristics for reduced conduction loss through the low side, resulting in increased efficiency throughout the entire system. The new series offers a high heat dissipation PSOP8 package (5.0 x 6.0 x 0.9mm) for greater power and current handling capacity. Furthermore, its wireless configuration reduces he inductance component at high frequencies, resulting in lower loss. The target applications for new ECONOS RMW series are; PCs, servers, network devices, gaming systems, power supply modules to name a few.
