Asus has a new line of notebook computers that will target business clients within the US. Called the Asus B series, this range of notebooks will comprise of two different models, the B43 and the B53, both of which were available earlier within Asia. The two models differ in their screen size, with the B43 having the smaller 14-inch LCD display while the B53 has the 15-inch LCD display. Under the hood, there are a number of options available incluing the choice of CPU (Intel Core i5 520M or Intel Core i7 620M), video card (ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 GPU or Intel GMA HD GPU) and a 320GB hard disk drive (5400 RPM or 7200 RPM). Standard to both models is the inclusion of a spillproof keyboard as well as a fingerprint reader for biometric security.
Details about pricing and the official launch date have not been confirmed by Asus at this time.
